Day 1: Drive from Nairobi via the Maasai town of Ewaso Ngiro for lunch and colourful market visit. Then into the bush to Olonganaiyo, a small Maasai homestead ("boma") for insights into their fascinating culture and way of life.

Day 2: You can either 2-3 hour walking safari along small river course and through the savanna for wildlife viewing with the Maasai as guides and interpreters of their lands or You can take a refreshing dip in a swimming hole and walk amongst giraffe, impala, zebra and wildebeest. Drive to our secluded camp in the Masai Mara and afternoon game drive.

Day 3: After breakfast do a morning hike to the summit of the Naunare hills guided by a local Maasai warrior. Desend back to our camp for lunch then drive back to Nairobi.

Day 1 : Leave Nairobi at around 0800 hours and drive through Mombasa road to Kibwezi taking approximately 3hours of drive. We drive for around 30 Kms on an all weather road from Kibwezi where we start walking to the caves. Take lunch and continue with an hour walk to the entrance of the caves. Spend the afternoon exploring the caves with dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 2 : After breakfast, explore sections of one of the longest "Lava Tube" caves in the world - Leviathan. These caves, which world-wide, are rare. Afternoon and the evening spent down in the caves looking at some of the fascinating formations found therein - Sink holes, lava ropes, stalagmites and stalactites, benches and of course the secondary, water formed features. Dinner and overnight at campsite.

Trekking in Chyulu Hills.

Day 3 : After breakfast, depart by road for the top of the Chyulu Hills. Superb walking country with gently undulating grasslands, interspersed with dense patches of forest. Possibility of viewing herds of eland and other antelope, giraffe, zebra and wildebeest with slightly lesser chance to see elephant, lion and buffalo and the other game that live in the area. Probable views of Kilimanjaro just 50 km away. Dinner and overnight along the crest.

Day 4 : Breakfast and spent full day guided trekking at the Chyulu Hills. Dinner and overnight at campsite.

Day 5 : Early morning game drive or short walk before a late breakfast / early lunch . Leave along the crest road and down the western side of the hills for the drive back to Nairobi arriving before nightfall in time for your next destination.

Day 2 - 4 : Game drives in the Masai Mara National park

Day 5: An exhilararting but strenous Walk through Masai territory accompanied by Masai guides and their donkeys (the Masai Mara sector can be conviniently skipped if client are interested in walking alone). The guides lead donkeys which carry all trips supplies. An enriching experience of remarkably spectacular scenery and the unique Masai culture, with added opportunities for game viewing drives before the wilderness trek.

From the central mountain region, the trip extends to Samburu in northern Kenya where we see lots of game and birds but also meet the local Samburu people and learn about their pastoralist way of life. We then descend to the Great Rift Valley where we see the beautiful flamingoes plus a spectacle of other birds and wildlife.
